Backpacks¶
Backpacks are real items with real stats: paginated storage you carry anywhere, plus passive buffs while the pack rides in your offhand.
Using a backpack¶
- Right-click to open. Works from either hand. If you're aiming at a chest or door, sneak first so the block doesn't win the click.
- Contents are stored server-side, so they survive anything that happens to your inventory.
- Storage paginates at 45 slots per page, up to a maximum of 450 slots (10 pages). Unearned slots on the last page show as locked.
Offhand buffs
Every stat rolled on a backpack applies while you hold it in your offhand — max health, mana, defense, movement speed, cooldown reduction and more. A backpack isn't just storage; it's a gear slot.
Ten backpacks ship from Common to Legendary, ranging 18–90 slots, each with its own themed stat spread.
Upgrading¶
Visit the Backpack NPC to upgrade your pack. The ladder runs:
Common → Common+ → Uncommon → Uncommon+ → Rare → Rare+ → Epic → Epic+ → Legendary → Legendary+ → Unique
Each step adds a rolled range of bonus slots and costs progressively more:
| Step | Cost |
|---|---|
| Common+ | 25,000 |
| Uncommon | 45,000 |
| Uncommon+ | 81,000 |
| Rare | 146,000 |
| Rare+ | 262,000 |
| Epic | 472,000 |
| Epic+ | 850,000 |
| Legendary | 1,530,000 |
| Legendary+ | 2,754,000 |
| Unique | 4,957,000 |
Your rolls are preserved
A well-rolled backpack stays well-rolled through every upgrade. If your main stat rolled at 45.7% of its band, it's still at 45.7% of the new, higher band after upgrading — you're never punished for upgrading a good pack.
Gem sockets: reaching each main rarity has a 50% chance to add an uncoloured gem socket, up to 6 total including the one rolled at creation. The "+" half-tiers give slots and stats but no socket roll.
Rules¶
- No backpacks inside backpacks.
- Only one player can have a given backpack open at a time.
- The pack you're holding is frozen while its menu is open.
- Shift-click deposits merge across every page.
